Carlo in 1976 on his first furniture design role.

My 71-year-old neighbor was being pushed out of his own company. Then he made his sons a video.

I live in a part of Italy where craftsmanship is religion. Here in the hills, family businesses are passed down like heirlooms.

My neighbor, Carlo, is 71. He founded a high-end furniture company forty years ago. He built it from sawdust and sweat into a global brand.

But last year, Carlo officially retired. He handed the keys to his two sons, Matteo and Luca.

Matteo and Luca are smart. They are “modern.” They talk about algorithms, viral reach, and TikTok trends. They run the marketing now.

I went over to Carlo’s house for a glass of wine last Sunday.

He looked defeated.

“I feel like a ghost in my own factory. The boys… they treat me like an antique. They think because I can’t edit a Reel or use a hashtag, I don’t understand the business anymore.”

He sighed.

“They are launching the ‘Heritage Collection’ next month.
I saw their plan.
It’s all fast cuts, loud music, and influencers dancing around my chairs.
It has no soul.
But when I try to tell them, they just smile and say, ‘Relax, Papa. Go play with your grandkids. We have this.’

Carlo with his last creation in the company - The Herritage Accent Chair.

It hurts to watch. Carlo has 50 years of impeccable taste. He knows luxury. But he was locked out of the conversation because he didn’t speak the “language” of modern content.

I got so many valuable insights from Carlo.
Usually he’s the one talking and I’m the one listening. Unlinke his kids.

I looked at Carlo.
“You don’t need to learn TikTok, Carlo. You just need to show them what you see in your head.”
I run a marketing agency. I know that tools change, but taste is permanent.
I opened my laptop. “I know these Serbian artists.”

I explained to him that there is a new way to create commercials. It doesn’t require camera crews, actors, or editing software. It requires Vision.

He was interested.

A while back I’ve met the Zamurovic brothers for some marketing work. They gave me a coupon for their Creative AI Masterclass. It was 100% off but I never used it.

I gave my coupon to Carlo. I told him to spend the week playing with it. The following Friday was the family dinner.

Matteo and Luca were there, stressed out. The launch video from their agency had just come in, and it was generic. It looked like every other furniture ad. They just realised they’ve bet everything on the wrong horse.

Carlo cleared his throat. “I have an idea,” he said quietly.

The sons rolled their eyes slightly. “Papa, please. We are handling the digital side.”

“Just watch,” Carlo said. He pulled out his iPad and pressed play.

I wasn’t there, but Carlo told me the room went dead silent.

They were expecting a blurred footage.

But.

The video wasn’t a shaky phone recording. It was a cinematic masterpiece.

It showed their signature leather armchair, not in a factory, but sitting alone in a sun-drenched library in a modern Italian villa. . Smooth camera movements, cinematic.

The music was an emotional, sounded like Andrea Bocelli but not copyrighted.  It perfectly matched the brand’s history.

It looked like a $50,000 production. It was bold like Carlo’s entire life compressed in 30 seconds.

Matteo finally spoke. “Papa… who did you hire to make this? We already spent this year’s entire marketing budget.”

Carlo smiled, took a sip of his wine, and tapped his temple. “I didn’t hire anyone. I made it this morning. While you two were worrying about algorithms, I was focusing on the art.”

He explained how he used the the Masterclass I gave him to turn his vision into video.

That night, the dynamic changed. Carlo wasn’t the “out of touch” retiree anymore. He was back to being the Visionary. His sons weren’t just respecting him as a father; they were respecting him as a creative force.

They are using Carlo’s video for the official launch.

When I saw Carlo yesterday, he had a vibe I hadn’t seen in months. “I still have the kicks my friend” he laughed.

I love the Zamurovic Brothers because they teach more than just software. They teach Empowerment.

They level the playing field. They take the 50 years of wisdom and taste that people like Carlo have, and they give them the tech to compete with—and beat—the 20-year-olds.

You don’t have to be a “tech wizard” to create world-class content. You just have to know what good looks like.

I called the Zamurovic brothers and told them about Carlo. They loved the story.

They agreed to open up a special “Mirel Discount” – 80% Off for a limited time.

If you want to show the world (and maybe your own family) that you’ve still “got it,” this is your Masterclass.
